I-VU® OMEGA-3 PLUS is a highly purified and concentrated omega-3 supplement that treats dry eye symptoms systemically rather than topically. This supplement provides optimal amounts of beneficial omega-3 fatty acids in re-esterified triglyceride (rTG) form, which promotes better absorption into the bloodstream. This process removes the alcohol content from synthetic alcohol-based omega-3s and converts them into a purified rTG form. This additional purification step significantly improves bioavailability compared to ethyl ester forms. The benefit for patients is that a higher percentage of fish oil is absorbed into the bloodstream, making the product more potent and effective.

For adults over 18, taking two capsules daily with meals provides 1824 mg of the most important omega-3 fatty acids—EPA, DHA, and DPA—which are associated with cardioprotective effects, improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and lower blood triglyceride levels.
